Elaine has been an independent management-training consultant since 1987 and specialises in training needs analysis and the delivery of training currently in the consultancy, oil and aid sectors. Her recent assignments include the development and training of core consulting skills, process consulting and influencing skills.

She has also worked in news media, insurance, financial regulatory and engineering sectors. She has a reputation for high energy and very clear delivery.

Before that she was training manager in Deloitte Haskins and Sells Management Consultancy Division (now PwC) for four years where she developed and implemented a training strategy that had a significant positive impact on the culture of the organisation. Elaine started her working life as an economist for British Petroleum following a BP sponsored BA (Hons) in Economics at Stirling. She also has a Graduate Diploma in Dramatherapy and is currently studying conflict resolution.
